These tours are different. They are designed for guests with their own rental cars.
We’ll meet at a designated location, and you’ll follow in your vehicle. Having your own vehicle allows you the freedom to continue to explore the island after the adventure.
You’ll be driving your own rental, while I guide the way in mine. My car, (affectionately known as the Kauai Funmobile), is packed with fun and practical items to enhance your adventure. From picnic blankets, coolers, water noodles, toys, Gilligan’s Island costumes, walking sticks, rain ponchos, and umbrellas… we’ve got you covered.
After the tour, you will have the luxury of exploring this magnificent emerald island, perhaps trying my recommendations for the rest of the day.

Helpful Tips for Cruise ship Passengers Renting a Car on Kauai
Cruise ships dock at Kauai's Nawiliwili harbor cruise terminal. NCL Pride of America, for example, docks weekly on Thursday mornings, departing Friday afternoons. Renting a car is simple, and Kauai’s roads are easy to navigate.
Recommended Car Rental Options for Cruise ship passengers:
• Enterprise, National, Alamo: Conveniently located at the Lihue Airport, these companies have merged and share facilities and offer a Free Shuttle Bus to and from the Kauai Cruise Terminal (operating 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM).
• SIXT Car Rental: Another reliable option with a Free Shuttle Bus service. ( please contact them for directly for shuttle hours)
Overnight Parking Options:
• Anchor Cove Mall: A shopping center parking lot, just a 7-minute walk from the ship, charges $20-$30 per night. The vehicle must be parked by 8:00 PM.
• Free street or public beach parking is available a 7-minute walk from the ship, but not recommended for security reasons.
