Aloha! I’m Karen Tilley, founder and guide of Kauai Eden Tours. Inspired by my father, Alex Tilley — the creator of the Canadian Tilley Hat—I’ve created a life centered on adventure and travel. I love teaching, singing and sharing Kauai’s breathtaking beauty with visitors from around the world.

My mission is to help people have an unforgettable vacation and leave with lifetime memories.

As an herbalist /naturist with 30 years of experience, I enjoy teaching about Kauai’s flora and fauna. ( Do you know for example, some of the most poisonous plants in the world line our roads, and are planted in some gardens as hedges!) (Castor Bean, and Oleandor)

Since moving to Kauai in 2000, I’ve been crafting fun, personalized tours for over 20 years, beginning as a Sierra Club Kauai Outings Leader.
